About Us
The Youthful Hands Society is a BC registered non-profit organization, aiming to​ coordinate teenagers to provide assistance to seniors with various small on top of that, we focus on bringing social connection to the seniors with projects such as delivering over 140 handmade Christmas Cards and presents around the holidays.

Our story began the summer after Grade 7, when I started working part-time in the neighborhood to save up for a phone my parents wouldn’t buy for me. Along the way, I began helping several seniors who lived alone and needed support with daily tasks. That’s when I realized how many seniors in our community faced similar challenges — and how much of a difference a helping hand could make.
That idea stayed with me. Two years later, in the summer of 2023, I put it into action by founding this society. My goal was simple: to bring teenagers together to support seniors — not just with chores, but with care, connection, and community. What started as a way to earn money has become a mission to bridge generations and spread kindness.

As the co-founder and event director of Youthful Hands, I am dedicated to leading initiatives that connect students with local seniors through hands-on community service and intergenerational engagement. I oversee event planning and volunteer management, ensuring that each activity that we do builds genuine connection and support. At Youthful Hands, I strive to create experiences that empower youth to give back while addressing the social isolation many seniors face, building a stronger, more compassionate community in the process.

What experience or age do I need to volunteer?
Here at Youthful Hands Society, we are looking for hard working teens, yet all ages are welcome to help out. No experience needed as our team will guide and brief all volunteers.
What are the events you organize?
Up coming events will be listed on the website, you can stay tuned by subscribing to our newsletter or just email Info@youthfulhands.org Our future events will include fundraisers, volunteering at senior homes ect.
Where do you operate ?
We will work in North and West van, we are always looking to expand to greater parts of the Metro Vancouver District to maximize the amount of people we can help.
How long can I get back from you?
We will try our best to get back to you as soon as possible, normally within 1 day.
